It is Rosebud’s great honor to announce The 5th Biennial X.J. Kennedy award for creative nonfiction. Mr. Kennedy is one of America’s most admired editors, poets and essayists. He was the judge of the first competition and remains a valued supporter of and advisor to the award. The current contest will be judged by Rosebud editor and VOICE OVER columnist Roderick Clark and by Robert Wake, Editor of Cambridge Book Review Press. As Judge Clark observes: "Paper is flat and the world is round. Telling the truth about the world requires both discipline and imagination. The winner must display both."
